As a passionate environmental advocate and a mother. Every day, I am reminded of the importance of protecting our planet for their future. Our children deserve a world that is as vibrant and full of life as the one we grew up in. But this vision requires us all to wake up and take responsibility for the future we are handing down to them.

We need to support and protect our natural resources and biodiversity not just for ourselves, but for our children and future generations. Our Programs and Projects:
- Nurturing Nature Spaces: We help schools transform their grounds into vibrant gardens, replacing lawns with native plants and creating edible gardens for school lunch programs. These spaces provide hands-on learning opportunities and connect students with nature.
- Eco-Friendly Lunchrooms: Our Green Lunchrooms program focuses on reducing waste and promoting sustainability in school cafeterias. From composting initiatives to the use of reusable materials, we aim to make every meal a step towards a greener future.
- Sustainable Practices: We educate students and communities on the importance of waste reduction and recycling. By teaching the principles of sustainability, we empower individuals to make environmentally conscious decisions.
- Active Transport Initiatives: This initiative encourages students to walk or bike to school, reducing carbon emissions and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
- Energy Efficiency: Our upcoming program focuses on energy efficiency and conservation practices within schools, helping to reduce their carbon footprint.
- Environmental Equity: This program addresses the intersection of environmental sustainability and social equity, ensuring that all communities have access to a healthy environment.
- Water Guardians: We provide resources and support for schools to implement water-saving practices and prevent pollution, safeguarding our precious water resources.
Our Signature Projects
One shining example of our Earthwin Challenge projects is the Crooked River Restoration Project. This youth-driven initiative involved over 200 students and volunteers who removed invasive weeds, tires, trash, and debris, clearing 26 acres of the Crooked River Riparian zone. The project aims to enhance community health and recreation by creating a beautiful new river park with safe river access and a paved pathway through town.
